January 22, 2020 COLORADO’S NEW OIL & GAS REALITY IN THE POST SB 19-181 WORLD
Jost Energy Law and Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell co-hosted the CLE presentation “Colorado’s New Oil & Gas Reality in the Post SB 19-181 World” on January 22nd for Colorado’s oil and gas industry executives, in-house counsel, and decision makers. During the presentation, Jamie Jost, Kelsey Wasylenky, and Joel Neckers discussed regulatory, land use, and litigation alternatives to protect oil and gas assets in the post SB 19-181 world. Dozens of changemakers attended the presentation, and the discussion surrounding SB 19-181 and the current climate in Colorado for oil and gas development was positive and insightful. In addition to the previously stated topics, there were also multiple discussions on “tools” that operators have to protect their oil and gas assets, while continuing to develop in the ever-changing political climate that is Colorado.
