May 2, 2019 FIRST COGCC RULEMAKING ANNOUNCED TO IMPLEMENT SB19-181
On May 2, 2019, COGCC Hearing Manager Larsen announced the first Rulemaking Hearing to implement SB19-181. This Rulemaking will adopt changes to the 500-Series Rules to (1) appoint Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) to conduct hearings and make determinations, (2) allow ALJs to make a record and issue recommendations to the Commission and (3) amend the requirements for pooling and spacing applications to comply with the mandates of SB19-181. The COGCC will publish amendments to the 500-Series Rules with these proposed changes prior to a scheduled stakeholder meeting on Wednesday May 15, 2019 from 8:30-10:00am.
