March 25, 2020 COGCC FORMALLY CONTINUES WELLBORE INTEGRITY RULEMAKING TO JUNE 10-11, 2020
On March 25, 2020, the COGCC voted to continue the Wellbore Integrity Rulemaking to June 10-11, 2020 due to the impacts of COVID-19 and the shared goal of an in-person hearing to deliberate the technical proposals involved in the Wellbore Integrity Rulemaking. While the Rulemaking hearing has been continued an additional three months, the Director does not believe that the continuance will change the effective date of the Wellbore Integrity Rules which are anticipated to become effective September 15, 2020.
