November 3, 2020 COGCC ISSUES NOTICE TO OPERATORS REGARDING DECEMBER 1, 2020 DEADLINE TO SUBMIT OFF-LOCATION FLOWLINE GIS LOCATION INFORMATION
On November 3, 2020, the COGCC issued a Notice to all Colorado Oil and Gas Operators regarding the upcoming December 1, 2020 deadline to submit off-location flowline Geographic Information System (GIS) data for facilities in existence prior to May 1, 2018 pursuant to the COGCC Flowline regulations adopted in November 2019. COGCC Rule 1101.b requires Operators of all such pre-existing off-location flowlines to submit a Form 44 Flowline Report that includes a description of corrosion protection, a description of the integrity management system, and GIS data that includes the flowline alignment and attributes at a minimum horizontal positional accuracy of +/- 25 feet.
