May 1, 2020 COGCC ISSUES THREE NOTICES TO OPERATORS IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19
On May 1, 2020, the COGCC issued three Statewide Notices to Operators (NTOs) in response to the impacts of COVID-19. The NTOs address the following topics: (1) extended timing for COGCC Form 6 Notice of Intent to Abandon from 6 months to 12 months; (2) requests for deviations from ongoing soil and groundwater remediation projects, spill or release reports, approved Form 27 Remediation Workplans and Form 4 Sundry Notice for Waste Management Plans for good cause; and (3) clarifications on notary requirements for COGCC filings and electronic service of documents.
