May 11, 2020 COLORADO GOVERNOR EXTENDS TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF SEVERANCE TAXES TO MAY 15, 2020pdf
On Friday, May 8, 2020, Governor Polis signed Executive Order D 2020 059 extending Executive Order D 2020 033, signed April 9, 2020, suspending the filing and remittance of State severance taxes for a period of one month due to the presence of COVID-19 in Colorado. The original order, set to expire thirty (30) days after April 9, 2020, temporarily suspended the requirements for filing State severance tax returns and estimated tax payments as well as quarterly declarations and payments for severance tax on all molybdenum ore in Colorado. Executive Order D 2020 059 will extend Executive Order D 2020 033 until May 15, 2020. Executive Order D 2020 059 may be read in its entirety in the attached document.
