August 11, 2020 WOGCC POLICY UPDATE – PROTEST POLICY FOR HEARING APPLICATION AMENDMENTS AND EXHIBITSpdf
At the August 11, 2020 Meeting of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (“Commission”), Commission Supervisor Mark Watson announced that given the current status of the industry and the implementation of the new APD Rule, he has updated several policies to address those impacts on the Commission hearings. The Policy for Hearing Application Amendments and Exhibits was updated on August 3, 2020. This is the 2nd iteration of this policy. The initial policy provided that operators were required to continue any application they chose to amend prior to or during the hearing. Once the amended application was re-filed and subsequently continued, the application was placed on the hearing docket that aligned with the application filing timeline. Now, if an operator chooses to amend an application, the application will be continued to the earliest month the Commission can get matters published for (1 or 2 months from the date of the amended filing). The updated policy is attached here.
