August 10, 2020 WOGCC SUBMITS NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND/ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONSpdf
On August 10, 2020, Commission Supervisor Mark Watson submitted a proposal on behalf of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (Commission) to update and amend the Commission Rules in Chapters 1 and 3. During the 2020 Legislative Budget Session, the Wyoming Legislature passed Senate Enrolled Act 0012 (SEA No. 0012), which amends the Commission’s authority to regulate commercial disposal wells. The proposal provided the amended language to both Chapters 1 and 3. Any comments or proposed amendments to the amended rules must be submitted and received by the Commission no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 5, 2020.

Proposed changes to the amended rules (redlines attached here) will be considered by the Commission at its regularly scheduled hearing on October 13, 2020. At this time no public hearing has been scheduled. A public hearing will be scheduled if more than 25 people/group comprised of less than 25 people requests a public hearing.
