November 17, 2020 WYOMING’S GOVERNOR MARK GORDEN LAUNCHES ENERGY REBOUND PROGRAM TO BOUY STATE’S ECONOMIC RECOVERY

Applications to apply for CARES Act funding under Wyoming’s newly-minted Energy Rebound Program (ERP) open on November 18, 2020 and will close on November 23, 2020. The program, meant to boost hiring and economic recovery for the oil and gas sector, offers reimbursement grants of up to $500,000 to oil and gas operators for work on well completions, recompletions, workovers, and plugging and abandonment that was postponed due to COVID-19. Any operator who was established prior to an applicable health order, has at least one full-time employee and whose qualified work was postponed as a result of COVID-19 is eligible.
