On August 28, 2019, the COGCC announced its first Stakeholder meeting on the Flowline Rulemaking and issued a summary of the proposed Flowline amendments.

On August 6, 2019, the COGCC issued updated Guidance Document for Hearing and Permit Applications under SB19-181.

On July 31, 2019, the COGCC unanimously adopted amended Rule 500-Series Rules to incorporate process and procedural changes to the 500-Series Rules following the enactment of SB19-181.

On July 22, 2019, the COGCC issued a Notice to Operators regarding Weld County’s 1041 regulations over oil and gas development through the WOGLA process.

On May 31, 2019, the COGCC released revised monthly Hearing dates for the remainder of 2019.

On May 29, 2019, the COGCC released two Guidance Documents addressing updated Hearings and Permit Applications Guidance, and new Form 2 and 2A Local Government Information Guidance.

On May 21, 2019, the new 9-member volunteer Commission met for the first time. In addition to public comment, the Director and Staff gave presentations regarding upcoming Rulemakings and also provided a general orientation to the new Commission.

On May 17, 2019, Governor Polis announced the new Oil and Gas Commission, which will meet on May 21, 2019 for its first hearing.

On May 16, 2019, COGCC Director Robbins held an Operator Meeting to present the adopted Director Objective Criteria required by SB19-181.

On May 9, 2019, COGCC Hearing Manager Mimi Larsen issued draft revisions to the COGCC 500-Series Rules for a June 17-18, 2019 Rulemaking hearing.
