January 18, 2024 ECMC Releases Draft Cumulative Impact Rules
On January 17, 2024, the Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission released draft Cumulative Impact Rules that will be noticed for Hearing before the Commission on April 22 – 26, 2024. The draft Cumulative Impact Rules follow House Bill 23-1294, signed into law on June 6, 2023, which requires the Commission to further evaluate and address cumulative impacts of oil and gas operations. The ECMC will accept public comments on the draft Rules until 10:00am on Monday January 29, 2024.
